Declan’s Appliance Repairs

By booking a repair or installation service with Declan’s Appliance Repairs, you (“the customer”, “you”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Services Provided

We offer domestic appliance repairs, installations, and related services. All services are provided with reasonable care and skill by experienced engineers. We will advise you if an appliance is beyond economical repair.

2. Booking & Appointments

Appointments can be made via telephone, email, or through our website.
We aim to attend on the agreed date and time, but all bookings are subject to availability.
If unforeseen circumstances prevent us from attending, we will contact you to reschedule.

3. Pricing & Payment

Pricing is provided at the time of booking or during diagnosis.
Payment is due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept cash, bank transfer, or card payments.

4. Parts & Warranty

Any replacement parts supplied are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty.
Labour is guaranteed for 30 days from the date of service.
Warranties do not cover misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or further unrelated faults.

5. Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
We reserve the right to charge a call-out fee if adequate notice is not given.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Ensure safe access to the property and the appliance.
Provide accurate information about the appliance make, model, and reported fault.
Remove fragile or valuable items from the work area.

7. Liability

We are not liable for pre-existing damage, underlying issues, or faults not disclosed at the time of booking.
We are not liable for incidental or consequential loss, including food spoilage or loss of business.
Our total liability shall not exceed the cost of the service provided.

8. Use of Website & Content

All text, images, and branding on our website are the property of Declan’s Appliance Repairs and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
Website content is provided for general information only and does not form a contractual offer.

9. Privacy

We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on request.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
